July Wrap-Up!

Books Read in July:
Just One Year (Just One Day, #2)Daughter of Smoke and Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1)Plan BThe One Dollar Horse (The One Dollar Horse, #1)MockingbirdThe Nannies (Nannies, #1)Me, Just Different (The Reinvention of Skylar Hoyt, #1)The Sword of KuromoriCity of Lost Souls (The Mortal Instruments, #5)

As you can see, I read 9 books in July! I enjoyed more than half, which is good. I loved Just One Year, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Mockingbird, City of Lost Souls and The One Dollar Horse! The other books I read were pretty average. The Nannies; Me, Just Different and Plan B fell into the "average" category. The Nannies had no substance and it was completely fluffy book with no deeper meanings at all really. I really enjoyed Plan B except the main character often frustrated me. Me, Just Different had a very good message and I would recommend it to teenagers, however, THE DRAMA. There was literally so much drama I actually felt as if my head would implode.

I'm not sure what I'll be reading this month as I always make plans to read certain books and then I never feel like reading them at the time, so I'm not going to set a dedicated TBR pile this month!

If you've done a monthly wrap-up, leave your link below and I'll stop by! :)

  1. 9 books in a month is a good number! I've been in and out of a reading and blogging slump so I think I got maybe 3-4 read.
I try not to set ahead what I read either, unless it's a review book that needs to get done, it's more fun to be spontaneous :) Hope you have a good August for reading!
