Summer Biannual Bibliothon + 24in48 Wrap-Up!

I'm so sad that this is the final round of the Biannual Bibliothon! It's such a fun readathon and I'll miss it a lot.

I didn't do as well with this readathon but I did get quite a lot of books read! I was hoping to complete all the challenges...but I didn't. 😂

The Paper & Hearts Society (The Paper & Hearts Society #1)Queen of Ruin (Grace and Fury, #2)The Whole Brain Diet: the microbiome solution to heal depression, anxiety, and mental fog without prescription drugsThe Ruins of Gorlan (Ranger's Apprentice, #1)

The Paper & Hearts Society - ⭐⭐ | Queen of Ruin - ⭐ | The Whole Brain Diet - ⭐ | The Ruins of Gorlan -

The Paper & Hearts Society - 355 pages
Queen of Ruin - 400 pages
The Whole Brain Diet - I'm not actually sure. Oops! I think perhaps 70 or so?
The Ruins of Gorlan - 280 pages (going by Goodreads -  I listened to an audiobook!)
Spellslinger - 243 pages (before I decided to DNF)
Peter Pan - Listened to 3 hours and 21 minutes. If I did the maths correctly, I should be on around page 117.
Every Breath - 67 pages

TOTAL: 1,532 pages!

1. Read group book (Aurora Rising) ❌ The ebook only became available via my library the day before the readathon was about to end. SADNESS.
2. Adult Book
The Whole Bran Diet kind of counts, right? 3. Graphic Novel ✅ I read Lumberjanes vol 2!
4. A Book Based on its Cover
I was supposed to read City of Brass for this but I think The Paper & Hearts Society definitely counts. How cute is that cover?! 5. Free Choice/ Wild Card Book
The Whole Brain Diet! It was super interesting. 6. A Book from an Author You’ve Never Read Before
John Flanagan's The Ranger's Apprentice! I've always seen this series around but never read it. It was available on my audiobook app so I thought I'd give it a try! 7. Read a Book You Were Really Excited for, but Never Picked Up
Lucy's book! I bought it last month and was planning on reading it immediately...but I didn't (shocker). 8. Read a Predicted 5-Star Read
I loved Grace & Fury so I hoped that I would love Queen of Ruin! And I did! 9. Read One of the Hosts's 5-Star Reads: Brittni - Gentleman's Guide of Vice Virtue Momo - The Truth About Keeping Secrets Red - Daisy Jones and the Six Caz - Code Name Verity Kassie - Perks of Being a Wallflower Kelly- Every Heart A Doorway Selena - Twilight Sierra - Darkest Minds Dylan - Girls on the verge Emma - Scythe

I was going to reread Twilight or finally read Darkest Minds. Again, I didn't. OOPS
.

I started off strong...and then I didn’t. My main goal was to beat my last record which was 13 hours and 3 minutes I believe? I thought I would since my weekend was free, but then I saw two of my friends on Saturday and Sunday to read with them...but I like talking. They like talking. We talked quite a lot but most of it was about books which was great! It's like a mini book club, right?

I managed to read 6 hours and 43 minutes on Saturday. I finished reading Every Breath by Nicholas Sparks and I finished listening to the audiobook of Peter Pan. I also finished reading Charlie Bone and the Castle of Mirrors!

On Sunday I began both The Epic Crush of Genie Lo and Charlie Bone and the Hidden King. I finished The Epic Crush of Genie Lo and had around 70 pages left of Charlie Bone!

I read 4.5 books - YAY! Super happy with that. The total time I read for was 12 hours and 46 minutes. I didn’t beat my last record but that’s okay. I read a LOT and I socialised - it was a good weekend!

I'm really happy with how much I read and I look forward to the next one!
