Top Ten Tuesday #32 - Last eight books that have found their way into my eager hands

This lovely meme is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish!

I, am very proud of myself, because I have been on a book-buying ban and a Netgalley ban and have refrained from buying books, so as you can see I haven't got a full list today which is making me proud and sad simultaneously. ALSO, we are moving to England at the end of the month and my boxes are mainly packed so that's also one of the reasons as to why I haven't been buying much. However, I have received some lovely books from publishers as well as loaned some from a friend - I am extremely excited about reading them!

1. I'll Give You the Sun - Jandy Nelson

When I got this book to review I very nearly died. Okay, that's a slight exaggeration but seriously, it's Jandy Nelson! I read The Sky is Everywhere back when I was 13 and to this day it still remains one of my favorite books, it shattered my heart into oblivion and stitched it back together, but forever claimed a piece. It was BEAUTIFUL and I can't wait to read this!

2. Dare You To - Katie McGarry
Dare You To (Pushing the Limits, #2)

My best friend (Kristin from Simply Bookish Things) loaned me this book to read a couple of weeks ago and I loved it! I devoured it quickly, it made me laugh and it made me cry and it reminded me just why I love reading so much. READ IT.

3. Take Me On - Katie McGarry

Kristin also loaned me Take Me On and OHMYGOSH, I found it so heart-wrenching and emotional and it reduced me to tears! Such an exceptional book! Also: it made me want to start kickboxing which I can imagine would be hilariously catastrophic as I am not the most "coordinated" of people.

4. Never Always Sometimes - Adi Alsaid
Never Always Sometimes

I AM EXCITED. IT LOOKS AMAZING. THAT IS ALL.

5.  They Call Me Alexandra Gastone - T.A. Maclagan
They Call Me Alexandra Gastone

A YA thriller where a teenage girl leads a double life as a normal teenager and as a CIA spy? SIGN ME UP.

6. Love Hurts - Malorie Blackman
Love Hurts

THIS COVER IS SO PRETTY. It's pink and blue, two of my favorite colours! I never read short stories so I'm interested to see if I enjoy it. Also, it's about different forms of love and all the ups and downs that accompany it which sounds like things are going to get prettyyyy interesting!

7. Queen of Tomorrow - Sherry D. Ficklin
Queen of Tomorrow (Stolen Empire, #2)
I have the first one to review and I'm really looking forward to reading these two one after the other! If I enjoy them, I am so buying them in physical format because just LOOK AT THAT COVER.

8. To Kill a Mockingbird

I'm currently reading this and it's absolutely AMAZING! I was so nervous to read it because it's one of the most well-loved, well-known and most criticized classics but I am absolutely in love with this book!
