The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 6th and runs through Sunday, January 12th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. I'm FINALLY participating in my first ever readathon! When I stumbled upon Zoe, Rita , Charlie and Debbie's Twitter conversation about it, I thought I would join them, as it sounds like tons of fun! And since school starts back up next week, I'm going to read as much as possible this week!
This readathon runs from the 6th of January to the 12th of January, so hopefully I can fit in quite a few books!
Goals:
1. Read 200+ Pages a Day
2. Read 12 books

This is a middle-grade series, there are about 200 pages in each book! I read the first four books when I was about eleven or so an absolutely fell in love with them and I've decided to read the rest of the series this month! I absolutely adore this series and if you're looking for a quick, run read, these are definitely a good choice!
